Neelkanth Woods: Location & Social Infrastructure

The Neelkanth Woods project is located in the Manpada area of Ghodbunder Road that is presently undergoing rapid infrastructural development. The blaring noise of the busy Ghodbunder road died down as I reached closer to the site.

This location gives the site excellent connectivity via road. The 20 km long stretch of Ghodbunder Road, also known as State Highway 42, runs through Thane district and links the Eastern and Western Express Highways of Mumbai. It connects Thane district to western suburbs of Mumbai like Mira Road and Borivali. City buses like BEST (Mumbai City Bus), TMT (Thane Municipal Transport), NMMT (Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport), MBMT (Mira Bhayander Municipal Transport) and VVMT (Vasai Virar City Bus) are a part of the transport system here. There are four flyovers present on the arterial road i.e. at Waghbil, Patilpada, Manpada and Kapurbawdi, which have eased the vehicular traffic situation.

Neelkanth Woods provides benefits to the residents through access to many quality educational and healthcare institutions. Some of the best schools in Thane such as Hiranandani Foundation School, CP Goenka International School, St. Xavier’s High School and Holy Cross Convent School are located within 2.5-6 km radius. The developer is currently launching 3 towers- Olivia A, B and C- in the first phase of the project. Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the project will see the launch of 6 and 3 towers respectively.
