The Puraniks Tokyo Bay is located at Ghodbunder Road, an area that is presently undergoing rapid infrastructural development. A D-mart, located right on the service road off Ghodbunder road, serves as a major landmark. The road next to D-Mart is the access road to the project site. The blaring noise of the busy Ghodbunder road died down as I reached closer to the site.
The project site boasts of excellent road connectivity. The 20 km long stretch of Ghodbunder Road, also known as State Highway 42, runs through Thane district and links the Eastern and Western Express Highways of Mumbai. It connects Thane district to western suburbs of Mumbai like Mira Road and Borivali. City buses like BEST (Mumbai City Bus), TMT (Thane Municipal Transport), NMMT (Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport), MBMT (Mira Bhayander Municipal Transport) and VVMT (Vasai Virar Municipal Transport) are a part of the transport system here. There are four flyovers present on the arterial road i.e. at Waghbil, Patilpada, Manpada and Kapurbawdi, which have eased the vehicular traffic situation.
The livability score at Ghodbunder road is always good, owing to the upsurge of residential projects as well as social infrastructure, which goes hand in hand. Puraniks Tokyo Bay: Project Overview
Puraniks Tokyo Bay is a Japanese themed residential project. The developer has tried to bring elements of Japanese architecture and landscapes into this project. The concept around which the design revolves is ‘Zen’. The Zen philosophy believes that a home is an extension of its surroundings and promotes a lifestyle which combines nature and minimalism.
The project is being built on a 25 acre land parcel and will have 8 towers. Phase 1 will see the launch of 4 towers- Zuisen, Taizo, Yuki [Wing A] and Saki [Wing B]. Zuisen has 7 apartments per floor; Taizo has 6 apartments per floor and Yuki, Saki each have 5 apartments per floor. Three elevators form the lift core, along with two staircases. Puraniks Tokyo Bay: Amenities Overview
There are several options for recreation and leisure in Puraniks Tokyo Bay, which will be delivered in phases. Phase 1 will see entrance gate with Japanese temple like arches, Fitness Centre and a Multi-Purpose sports court. There will also be a garden landscaped on the Zen concept which will provide opportunities for social interaction and community celebrations. There will also be a wooden Tea House nestled among the groves, which can be a cozy place for the residents to spend time with friends and family.
Phase 2 will see the advent of a Gymnasium, Indoor Games and a Multi-activity room. Phase 3 will further see completion of the kids pool, swimming pool, Meditation/ Yoga lawn, Skate board park, children’s play area, toddlers play area and a jogging track. The Fire Garden is an idea borrowed from the Japanese culture, which will consist of an ensemble of vibrant flowers, lanterns, sculptures and installations set within the gardens, that will offer a fiery spectacle.
