One of the main reasons for this is the planned and upcoming infrastructure. Chief among these is the Navi Mumbai airport which is expected to relieve much of the immense aviation traffic pressure currently faced by the Mumbai airport. Building a new airport comes with numerous supplementary infrastructure such as roads, lighting, hotels, retail and commercial developments, etc. which will boost NAINA’s growth.

In addition to a new airport, NAINA will be connected to South Mumbai directly via the under-construction 21.8 km Trans-Harbour Link which will allow rapid commute to and fro in minutes rather than the couple of hours it currently takes. The upcoming 126 km Virar-Alibaug multi-modal corridor will connect NH-8, NH-4, NH-3, Mumbai-Pune Expressway, Bhiwandi Bypass and more thus enhancing NAINA’s connectivity to other parts of Mumbai and its suburbs.
