Location & Connectivity

Boisar is located to the north of Mumbai in Palghar district and is easily accessible via the Western Railway line as well as via the NH-8 (17.6 km). Boisar is well known as one of the biggest MIDCs in Maharashtra. It is home to operations by more than 1800 small, medium and large industries such as Tata Steel, JSW, Camlin, Viraj, Lupin and many more. This industrial economy has not only contributed to the job economy in Boisar but also infrastructural development.

Boisar station has two local railway lines with two more being developed to cater to the growing population. There are regular train services taking commuters from Boisar to Churchgate.
