Signature Residence Layout

Designed by Japanese architecture firm Nikken Sekkei Ltd., the layout for Godrej Origins’ three premium towers with five wings – P, Q, R, S, T – have been aesthetically conceived; each wing features different configurations and layouts to suit various needs. Apartments in each of the wings enjoy either eastern views of the beautiful mangroves and rising sun or western views of the city scape and setting sun. Most apartments also have balconies or sit-outs to enjoy these tranquil and breathtaking views. Let’s take a more closer look into the layout of the wings.

Wing P is the first of the five and comprises exclusively of 1 bed residences. There are five apartments on each floor of this 10 storey wing. Apartments vary from 486 sq. ft. to 528 sq. ft. Three of these five apartments face the west while two of them face the east. The eastern facing apartments are slightly bigger and have a spacious bedroom. They also enjoy spacious sit-outs in the living room which overlook the sprawling complex and enjoy views of the mangroves.

Wing Q is 13 storeys and has 4 apartments to each floor – 2 each of 1 bed, and 2 bed apartments. The west facing apartments are 1 bed with a unit size of 465 sq. ft. The east facing apartments are 2 bed measuring 743 sq. ft. The eastern facing apartments are designed to provide a larger master bedroom and spacious second bedroom. The living rooms of these 2 bed units also enjoy views of the sprawling complex and mangroves from the spacious sit-outs.

Wing R is also 13 storeys but has only 3 apartments of different configurations on each floor. The 1 bed residence is a standard 465 sq. ft. The 2 bed apartment is 743 sq. ft. and has a similar layout as the 2 bed units in Wing Q. However, these 2 bed apartments in Wing R enjoy the western views from the living room sit-out. The third apartment is a ‘compact 3 bed residence’ and is 858 sq. ft. This is the only east facing apartment on every floor and has a sit-out in the living room. The additional room is designed as a study, but the final utility of this room is left up to the imagination of the buyer.

Wing S has a unique floor plan. It has 4 apartments on each of its 17 floors. Facing the east are the two adjoining spacious 3 bed apartments of 1332 sq. ft. The master bedroom in these apartments have a walk-in closet space and balconies. Across the lobby are the other two apartments on the floor which enjoy western views. The 1 bed unit is a spacious 545 sq. ft. while the compact 3 bed unit is 915 sq.ft. The unique aspect of apartments in Wing S is that each of them enjoys a living room sit-out.

Wing T, similar to wing S is also 17 storeys but has 3 apartments per floor, each of a different configuration. The 2 bed apartment is 820 sq. ft., faces the setting sun and has a living room balcony. The east facing 4 bed apartment is a very spacious 1690 sq. ft and occupies the entire eastern side of the wing. Two of the larger bedrooms have balconies while the master bedroom also has a walk-in closet. This particular apartment has a spacious TV room as well as 4 bath-cum-toilets, 3 of which are en-suite.

The third apartment in wing T is a spacious 1262 sq. ft. 3 BHK. The bedrooms all face the west whereas the spacious living room and adjoining balcony face the north. This is a corner apartment which is unique to the entire Origins layout of apartments and enjoys western and northern views. The master bedroom also has a balcony. The northern view overlooks the upcoming Godrej Two commercial tower within the same complex.

Having reviewed Phase 1 and 2 of The Trees project, we went back to the refreshingly green and aesthetically beautiful campus to find out more about the latest addition – Godrej Origins. Here’s what we found out and the reasons one can choose to make Origins their home is starkly clear!

Acclaimed Partners

Japanese architecture firm Nikken Sekkei Ltd. are famed for their work on the Hoki Museum, Sony’s Osaki New building project and the Bank of Chengdu headquarters. For a development that has been grabbing headlines and eyeballs, it is no wonder that Godrej have roped them to design the Godrej Two commercial building as well as Godrej Origins. So one can certainly expect class, minimalist aesthetics and well-used space with an international appeal. The traffic and navigation at this sprawling development which will host residents, visitors as well as office goers, will be eventually managed by a specialised traffic management company to ensure smooth flow of people and vehicles.

Godrej Origins is part of a mega masterplan which has been designed so that residents hardly ever need to step out of the campus for daily needs. The retail space right in the centre of the development, along Market Street, includes high street retail stores, cafes – including the famous and already functional eatery – ‘Social’ at The Trees. Two legacy power generation plants have been thoughtfully restored and reinterpreted into studio space which can be alternately used as a gallery and museum.
