Dosti West County: Location and Social Infrastructure

The site is located at Balkum and we enter the project from the Vaitarna Pipeline service road, off the Old Mumbai-Agra Road.

The Old Mumbai-Agra Road connects the site to Bhiwandi and eventually to Nashik. The project is located 2 kms away from the Eastern Express Highway and 5.5 kms away from Thane station. The Eastern Express Highway connects it to the eastern suburbs of Mumbai and also to the western suburbs via the Ghodbunder Road. Thane station is an important node in the railways as it offers connectivity to the central railway line as well as the Harbor Railway line [which leads to Navi Mumbai]. The project is also located very close to the stops of two lines of the upcoming Mumbai Metro – Line 4 [Wadala to Kasarvadavali] and Line 5  [Thane-Bhiwandi-Kalyan corridor].

Social infrastructure like schools and hospitals are in close vicinity to the project, which is a plus for its livability score. Schools such as CP Goenka International School [2.3 kma], DAV Public School [4.6 kma] and Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School [4.3 kma] are located in the vicinity. The proposed Thane campus of Mumbai University is less than a kilometre away from the project.

Hospitals such as  Jupiter Hospital [3.4 kma], Life Care Hospital [5.1 kma] and Bethany Hospital [4.3 kma] are also close by.

The project is also 1.9 kms from Big Bazaar and 3.5 kms from Viviana Mall which is an add on to the residents’ leisure and shopping conveniences. A proposed ISCKON temple within the campus of Piramal Vaikunth is something that the buyers can look forward to, as well.

The master plan of Dosti West County will be designed over 100 acres of land parcel. With a major chunk of land left unplanned, Dosti Realty is rolling out the first and second phase of the project over 14 acres of land parcel.

The first phase will see the development of Dosti Oak, where the structure will comprise of four wings-Wing A, Wing B, Wing C and Wing D. The 30 storeyed building is being constructed over a 0.5 acre land parcel, along with a few recreational spaces exclusively for its residents.

The second phase will roll out Dosti Cedar, which will have a 33 storey building with two wings- Wing A and Wing B. It will also see the development of the entire amenities zone.

Dosti Westwood is proposed for phase three, with more future development in the pipeline [it may also include a school].

The first phase, Dosti Oak will offer 2 BHK apartment configurations. There will be a smaller sized 2 BHK [optima] and a bigger size [prima] to offer more variety in terms of area and budget. Optima will offer the second bedroom as a study room whereas Prima will offer a full sized second bedroom.
