A four-lane grade separator makes it easy for vehicular traffic to move out of Rajajinagar towards Bangalore Central via Okalipuram. Malleshwaram railway station is also located nearby. Rajajinagar has a metro station in the Green line, therefore travel time to important stations like Yeshvanthpur (5 minutes), Jalahalli (12 minutes), Mantri Mall (8 minutes), Kempegowda metro station (10 minutes), M.G. Road (15 minutes) is less.

Orion Mall is a modern, multi-level mall featuring popular chain stores, global dining & an artificial lake is located at the heart of Rajajinagar. Other malls like Westgate Value Mall (2 km), GT World Mall (2.5 km), Golden Heights (2 km) are located close by. Hypermarkets and discount department stores like Big Bazaar (2.5 km), METRO (4 km) which sells retails, groceries and everyday use products at discounted rates are located nearby.

Rajajinagar is also a go-to place for street food lovers with numerous places offering a variety of street food including chats, Chinese delicacies, dosas etc.

If you like taking an evening stroll or sitting on the park benches or taking your kids out to play, Rajajinagar has plenty to offer. There are more than a dozen parks in the area like Sangoli Rayanna Park, Devaiah Park, Shri Mahadeva Maila Park etc. It also has rock climbing, trekking spots for adventure lovers.
