Our drive to the project site of Assetz Lumos was a pleasant one, with just the right hint of nostalgia, since I grew up here. Yeshwanthpur is a quintessential chunk of old Bangalore which shares borders with some of the oldest suburbs such as Malleshwaram,Rajajinagar, Mathikere and Nandini layout, as well as the industrial areas of the city such as Peenya Industrial estate. The project is in its finishing stages and we went ahead to explore the penthouses on the 13th floor. The residents of Assetz Lumos can enjoy unhindered views of the brilliant landscape, since there are no other high rise buildings in immediate surroundings of the project site.

Social Infrastructure: Healthcare, Education, Shopping, Other Highlights

The view from these homes include the monumental towers of the ISKCON Temple (0.7 km), the Venkateshwara Temple(1.2 km), various patches of dense tree growth and coconut groves on all sides, view of the magnificent World Trade Centre (1.7km), Orion mall (0.6km)  the  Sheraton Hotel (0.6km) and much more. Columbia Asia hospital is a mere 0.7km from the project site, Yeshwanthpur Railway Station is 1.2km and the Yeshwanthpur Metro Station, which offers connectivity to Peenya  is just 0.4km; to sum up, the residents of Assetz Lumos will have access to workplaces, transport facilities, recreation centres, shopping malls and every other lifestyle need at a walking distance. Moreover, Malleshwaram and Rajajinagar have some of the best schools in the city like Venkat International, Kendriya Vidyalaya, National Public School, to name a few; this will take care of the educational needs of the residents. Further, the Bangalore-Tumkur Highway (NH4) provides excellent connectivity to industrial areas such as Nagasandra, Peenya, Nelamangala and so on.The best part remains in the fact that even though Yeshwanthpur has emerged as one of the most developed localities to live in, it has retained its old world charm, which can be spotted in the vast expanse of independent houses surrounding the site, aged trees lining the roads and walkways, several old factories such as the Mysore Lamps factory and BHEL Insulators factory, vegetable and flower markets, single screen theatres co-existing with the supermarkets and multiplexes and many such details.

Connectivity to Assetz Lumos

The convenience offered by Assetz Lumos, in terms of connectivity is quiet impressive; the  large network of roads connects the project site to various corners of the city, effortlessly. The Central Business District is at a distance of 11kms and can be reached via three different routes, all within 20 mins. The Kempegowda International Airport is a 35kms and the residents have access to the signal free corridor from Mekhri Circle, with travel time within 1 hour. Bangalore city railway station is again a mere 9kms and can be reached within 20 minutes. Due to its proximity to the industrial areas, Assetz Lumos may majorly attract industrialists as its customers; apart from this, we also learnt that doctors, NRIs, lawyers and senior executives employed at the World Trade Centre (occupants include Amazon, ABB, Coca Cola, McKinsey amongst others) and other establishments nearby have also invested in a homes here. In short, the  project seems to appeal to a niche set of people, specifically looking to buy a home in the bustling environs of a well developed suburb, in the heart of old Bangalore.

    Distance from Airport – 33.5 Kms

    Nearest Ring Road – 2.5 Kms(Outer Ring Rd)

  2. Assetz is quite good a brand. It got awards from Credai recently and have also been in the news for building better projects than anyone.
