K. R. Puram or Krishnarajapuram in East Bangalore is known for its commerce and various ancient temples. K. R. Puram is a suburban area in Bangalore. It is also one of the important real estate destinations in Bangalore.

The cable stayed bridge at K. R. Puram has been conferred with the title of most outstanding national bridge by Indian Institution of Bridge Engineers.
